這首「Saving All My Love for You」是定義了80年代的經典作之一，但余生也晚，對這首歌雖有印象，卻一直不知道這是Whitney Houston第一首冠軍單曲。毒妮現在已經是倒嗓唱不出來了，但是回頭再聽，會驚訝於她年輕時音色之清亮，猶勝過她在90年代演歌通吃的全盛期。下面的錄影是取自 David Letterman Show，她在1985年的現場演唱，當年她21歲。多麼無懈可擊！短短的兩句歌詞裡可以在唱腔上作出如許豐富的變化，而且游刃有餘，比她的錄音室版本還好。天后就是天后。

哈哈，你很毒哦，老稱人家「毒妮」。人家是哪兒招惹到您大爺啦？
不過，看到她的不幸與墮落，很感慨。可惜了這驚人天賦。我一直以為這個歌唱家族的loser是她的阿姨Dionne Warwick，沒想到是這天后命運多舛。
